French artist Hervé di Rosa occupies a singular position in the world of contemporary art in that he pays tribute to no ’ism’ and he delights in telling stories that no-one wants to hear.
This book features work created during his recent Mexican experience and visually documents his confrontation with Mexican popular art and the religious components that survive in it. He draws heavily on Mexican vernacular styles such as murals, commercial street painting and pop culture icons enriching all with his totally individual approach to form and color.
